“Head in the Clouds” Wood Burned Hexagon Shelf
I started wood burning this shelf almost a year ago! I get bored easily, and start so many projects, that it took me this long to get back to it and finish her up! “Head in the Clouds” came to me as an idea after starting a new round of anti-anxiety meds. I felt like this skelly friend as my body adjusted to the new medication. I am happy to report that this med no longer makes me feel this way, but I still occasionally have my head in the clouds for unrelated reasons.
I think this turned out neat. I love the blue theme, and thats a real amethyst stone glued on the top with E6000 industrial strength adhesive. I cut the twine off the back of the shelf and attached a fancy jewelry chain, so I wouldn’t recommend anything too heavy to display on the shelf. Looks cool with your little trinkets, or empty, your choice!
Measures approx.: 5”x 6” x 1” (9” tall with chain).
