Karlee Beth Barr graduated from the University of Iowa in 2006, where she recieved her Bachelor’s Degree in Art. She currently lives in the Quad Cities with her husband, son and two cats. She also works as a Paraprofessional at her son’s Elementary School.
She used to be known for offering custom pet portraits, but has been limiting comissions due to her 2021/2022 battle with stage 2b breast cancer. She will only agree to making a custom portrait if the client understands her boundaries.
While she is fortunately considered NED (no evidence of disease), she still favors the freedom of creating whatever she wants, whenever she wants. You’ll notice she doesn’t stick to just one medium or subject matter, she loves to wood burn, paint, use clay, resin and more..
