“Skull Kittens” Extra Small Authentic Vintage Frame Mini Painting
The idea of two black void kitties resting inside the eye sockets of a skull was an idea that came to me while dozing off at bedtime back in the autumn months. This concept was originally going to become a Halloween painting, but I didn’t get around to it in time. Good news, though, if you’re into skulls and black cats year ‘round like me, it’s now complete and I really must say, it is just darling!
I painted this tiny one in acrylics on a small 1” x 1.25” sheet of canvas paper and placed in this very special frame that I sourced locally in a thrift shop (Jackson’s in Rock Island). It is authentic vintage and has the most wonderful beadwork on the edge. I am not sure how old the frame is or what it may be worth, but I figured putting art in it would be better than it sitting on a shelf somewhere, empty. I cut a piece of cardboard, and attached a flexible wire to the back, so it can be all cute and tiny on your walls. It also looks neat with a ribbon and hung on a tree or leaning on a shelf or shadowbox. Miniatures are cool like that. Sealed with modpodge dimensional magic.
Measures approx.: 1.5”x 1.75”
Item is fragile, please handle with care.
Thank you for shopping small!
